ATTAINMENT OF DURABLE SOLUTIONS

This project capitalizes on the successes of Midnimo-I project and builds on progress made in  state/ district expansion of authority and accountability,  to address challenges of conflict, displacement and community cohesion. The project aims to this through government-led but community-driven solutions, and improvement in livelihoods and the local economy informed by a gender-differentiated baseline. By targeting underserved states at a critical time, the project will support Somalia’s transition to a peaceful and stable country, building on the positive developments and gains made in the local political and social contexts. By doing this it aims to effect real change, with credible government actors at the fore.
