The Resident Coordinator heads the UN System for Somalia and is the Resident Representative for UNDP Somalia. UNDP has appointed a Country Director who is responsible for the day-to-day work of UNDP Somalia. Our Country Director is assisted by two Deputies, one for Programme and the other one for Operations. 

UNDP Somalia implements its programmes in close partnership with the Transitional Federal Government, and the governments of Somaliland and Puntland, as well as civil society, local and international NGOs and sister UN agencies.
