With support from the government of Japan, UN Joint Rule of Law Project, Police pillar held on 15-19 April a five day training on Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV) investigation and application of forensic science for eighteen CID Police Investigators as well as a Prosecutor and Judge from the High Judiciary Council.

Somalia Signs Landmark Paris Climate Agreement

Somalia joined the political leadership of global community at the United Nations Headquarters in New York to sign the landmark Paris Climate Agreement on 22nd April 2016. The Climate Agreement was signed by the President of Somalia, H. E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, in the presence of the UN Secretary General and Heads of State and Government from 174 countries and the European Union.
